How to use a Roland SC-55 with ScummVM

Hi I'm thinking of getting my first ever Roland SC-55 for my retro PC. However, I understand it can also be used with ScummVM on a modern PC? Or is it only an emulated version you can use? If you can hook it up, is there a guide/documentation for it? Not many videos came up for me in a Google search...

Re: Gabriel Knight 1 - combine DOS and Windows versions?

EDIT: Hmm. According to Mobygames then, the CD version I have is the US release, which contains both the DOS and Windows versions. And yet when last I looked, I couldn't see any DOS installers, I don't think. I couldn't get anything to load under DOS and it said it was Windows only. My "Sierra...

Re: Gabriel Knight 1 - combine DOS and Windows versions?

Both the Windows and DOS CD versions should have voices. I guess the floppy version doesn't, but I don't have that one. I haven't played them enough to know what the differences are. For the DOS version there should be an "Enable high resolution graphics" setting under "Game Options&...

Gabriel Knight 1 - combine DOS and Windows versions?

Hi I'm not sure if anything is going to become of this thread, or if it's possible to do this with the original DOS and Windows versions. This is something I'm looking into with my retro Win98 PC. I've noticed different versions of games can be listed like 'DOS CD' or 'Windows CD' in ScummVM. I unde...

Ripper Support

Hi

I was just wondering if there are any plans, or if it's been discussed, about adding support for the Ripper adventure game with Christopher Walken? I'm looking at picking up a copy some time and noticed it's not listed under the supported games list yet.

Thanks

Phantasmagoria - could this be a bug? (spoilers)

Hi Before I post this bug officially, I thought I'd ask here first as I'm not sure if it is or not. So I was wondering if anyone can confirm...? Whilst playing through the final chase sequence in Chapter 7, I got to the point where you obtain the snowman amongst the rags on the floor. After that, yo...

Re: Wow...!

Okay, I tried removing the .SFX and .AUD at the ends of the files and the error no longer shows. :) Also, I'm not getting music on the main menu, which I wasn't getting before.

Re: Wow...!

Oh, I see. It's just that, for some reason, if I remove the .SFX or .AUD part, it asks me to confirm if I want to remove the file extension. Doing so just lists the files as 001, 002 etc rather than by their proper extension. Like so: explorer_J7G9h0GwLH.png explorer_X1f4s8BJ2a.png Which to me, didn...

Re: Wow...!

Okay, this thread may need to be turned into a support one. I finally got my copy of the game, and looking up the Wiki page for it, I've (as far as I know) copied and pasted all the relevant files, which seems to be everything off each of the 7 discs. Now, I'm not sure if I've failed to do something...

Wow...!

Hi It's been some time since I used and posted on the ScummVM forums, or even played a classic adventure game through ScummVM. But recently I've gotten back into buying classic big boxed PC games, and one game I won in an auction yesterday was Phantasmagoria, which I've heard/read about for years, b...

Oh. Well that's sure awkward... :? I could've sworn it said 'P' for pause, but no, it does say 'pause' - as in the pause key.

I guess you can delete this thread then. Though the password reset link in the emails I mentioned don't work, so I guess the thread wasn't completely worthless

Simon the Sorcerer 2 Pause Key

First of all, after struggling to log on due to forgetting my password, having an email sent to me to reset it doesn't work. The link in the email takes me to a 'Not Authorised' page. I tried contacting ScummVM via Twitter and facebook about it and received no response. It was only thanks to a rando...
