thats what i thought as well, but i dont know how it could be. The game has always worked fine in the past (on my old computers) and the discs are in pretty good condition.
oh well, i guess i'll have to scour the net looking for working copies

so i got the game to work, but now i dont have speech. all i get it static. I have both speech.clu files (in a folder called SPEECH) and i have named them speech1.clu and speech2.clu respectively. Any ideas? once again, thanks to anyone who can help. I've been trying to get this game running for aaa...

I downloaded the English addons for Broken Sword 1 (mac version), the opening cut scence played and then it quit straight after and since then it hasn't worked at all..and i've tried both the DXA and mp2 packs.
