Wii version

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Wii version of Scumm VM up and running? I would've thought the situation would be similar to running it on the DS, except using the Wii's SD card slot? Of course the software has to be properly modified first... Is there something in the works for this? Th...

Oh yeah, I know all too well it's illegal - doesn't stop people uploading torrents across the web tho. I used torrents to download a few games from my LucasArts archives pack, as my PC won't read the disks for whatever reason, but as far as I'm concerned, if I've paid for the original, owning a down...

AgentQ, you are a massive help. Thanks so much.

I found I have a .sog file, and need an .sou. Sadly, I don't have the original CD for the game anymore (along with half my LucasArts Archives set :-( ). Is there anywhere I can obtain or download an Indy FoA .sou?

Ok, thanks for the help. I already have the scummVM toolbox, I used it to patch the ScummVM files before copying them to the DS.

How does this work with the monster.sou file? Will it convert it into a .so3 file?

I think it's this that's causing the problem, as it controls all this sound in the game.

Yeah, all game data on every game is unzipped or uncompressed. All other games seem to work fine.

By the way, the monster.sou file IS included with all other Indy game files, on the SD card, inside the R4DS. Still no luck.

I just found this piece of informatin opnline: ------------------------------------------------- Converting Speech files to MP3 format ScummVM supports playing back speech for talkie games in MP3 format. Unfortunately, the DS CPU is not quite up to the task, and MP3 audio will sometimes cause slowdo...

Indy Fate of Atlantis: no speech problem

I have an R4DS with 2gb micro-SD card. My version of Indiana Jones and the Fate Of Atlantis plays ok through ScummVM DS, but when the incidental sounds and speech should kick in, nothing happens. Only the music! The original game file on my PC works perfectly with speech through the PC ScummVM, but ...

Ok, I managed to get the games working, miraculously. I followed the guide, exactly, step-by-step on this page: http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/DS/feature.asp?c=3252 I am now left with a different problem however. My version of Indiana Jones and the Fate Of Atlantis plays ok, but when the incidental ...

Indy FoA speech problem

I have the same problem, and I have the Moster.SOU file in the same directory as the game. All other talkie games work, such as Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max. Why not this one? It worls perfectly fine on my PC through ScummVM.

So exactly which files do I need on my DS?
Admittedly, I can't see it helping me find the game file to select, but I'd like to know anyway.

I am having a similar problem with my R4DS I have just bought. I can browse to the game folder using ScummVM DS, but can't find any games files. I have tried using all versions of the patched ScummVM DS files, from a - h, but with the same results.

I don't know what to do!

Yeah, I click "add" when I've browsed to the game directory, as far as I can go, but it just says that game files are not found.

So if the game exe files are not needed, how does the ScummVM software know what to look for to play the game?

R4DS can't find game .exe

Hi I have installed ScummVM (recommended via the forum), downloaded 'dlditool' to patch the ScummVM files, and copied the ScummVM folder to the micro-SD. I then copied, as an example, Monkey Island 1 & 2 to the micro-SD, slotted it into the R4DS and started up the ScummVM interface by selecting ...
