I uploaded my (updated) old site, which has the latest versions of the Debug Mode FAQ and Game/Interpreter Version List (and nothing more I might add): http://agisci.altervista.org/ Enjoy! AGI Debug Modes is up too: I noticed some stuff is missing like "BACKSTAGE" for space quest 1, and th...

Omer, long time no speak! But apparently we're on the same level, since I "dug up" my Debug Mode FAQ and Game/Interpreter Version List this month, reviewing them a bit and was planning to reupload them somewhere. Integrating the Debug FAQ here, just like the version list, seems like a good...

I assume the wiki includes everything from it anyway? And more. Well, the wiki entry is based on a rather old version of my list actually. I made an update, which was never incorporated in the wiki, possibly because my site (free hosting) went down soon after or perhaps the deeplink to version 0.91...

I contacted the person responsible for the translations: Turns out it had nothing to do with an unwilling dutch audience, but rather with a sudden change of power at LucasArts which turned out to be fatal for the dutch translations. In fact, Monkey Island was fully translated! But it wasn't meant to...

Perhaps after creating the ad they realized there wasn't enough money to be made to justify doing a full Dutch localisation of the game, and didn't follow through. I'm pretty sure that's the case, but it doesn't completely rule out a dutch version of Indy4, since the disk version pre-dates the CD v...

Slightly off-topic, but not worth a new topic I guess: While cleaning out a small room on my parents attic, I found a magazine I thought was gone for good. I fondly remembered it because it introduced me to Monkey Island, Loom, the then-upcoming Sierra VGA games, etc. Needless to say, I was quite pl...

...Although it's possible, I think it's not very likely it was actually made, but rather planned.... I found this ad ( scan of the ad ) in an old dutch games magazine called Softwaregids from sept/oct 1992. It says clearly that Lure o/t Temptress is (was) available in Dutch. Maybe it is possible to...

Interesting find. Although it's possible, I think it's not very likely it was actually made, but rather planned.
However, a dutch version of Elvira II seems to exist and the game is from the same time period and probably the same local distributor (Homesoft Benelux).

Is there anybody who has some more information on the dutch release of Elvira II? It seemed to be a localized version, but I find it a bit hard to believe, especially given the rarity of dutch translations.
