Re: EMI PS2 -> PC

Late to the party, but this is fantastic. I might have weird taste, but EFMI is one of my favorite adventure games, but due to the better control and Monkey Combat guide, the PS2 version is by far easier to play. Having these additions added to the version playable in ScummVM is a dream come true.

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?

I'd thought on this recently. While all 3 of these games are playable through other emulators, they come with issues: Policenauts - Has mouse support, but most emulators don't even know there's a such thing as a PS1 mouse. Running it in ScummVM and having mouse support would be amazing. Snatcher - T...

Escape From Monkey Island released on GoG

Just saw this. Is it using a fork ResidualVM to run on modern systems? Anyone want to buy it and see how it runs? I am on a Mac, so I'd have to run it through WINE or something else anyways.

Re: Road To El Dorado reversing video

Hey, it's good to see this. I saw this game mentioned years back as a 3D adventure game, I had never played it, and shortly after it popped up at a local second hand store, and I scooped it up, but I've been sitting on it for years hoping someone would make Residual support it. I tip my hat to you, ...

Re: Mouse interface for Grim Fandango (Fan made mod)

I still cannot get it to run in Snow Leopard(Instant crash).

What are the odds of this getting merged with the main source of ResidualVM? It'd be cool to have this for EFMI too when the time comes. :D

I know, this is bumping an ancient thread, but I didn't think my itty bitty question needed a new topic.

My question is just: Is anyone working on The Neverhood support in ScummVM? I got mixed impressions from a few people, so I was curious.

So I know this is not exactly a request thread, so this is almost as much a memo to me as anything else. But "someday in the future" support for these would make me smile. ÔÇó EFMI, because the OS9 version screwed me over. :P ÔÇó Discworld Noir - Looks interesting, never played it. ÔÇó Gol...

Well, that error, can be fixed by putting aside the changes youve done to the working copy, by typing "git stash", before any "git pull"s. Commenting out SHOULDN'T really be necessary, but I guess you could pretty much remove the entire contents of the bink.cpp and bink.h files,...

First Diskworld, now Ringworld.

What '-Worlds' are left for ScummVM to even cover!?

If the Bink-stuff is giving you problems, don't worry, it isn't used in Grim Fandango at all, only Escape From Monkey Island. (Thus, you can liberally comment out, and remove all includes of the Bink-stuff, if you want, without any repercussions). However, did you do a "git pull origin master&...

After hectic life, I am going to give this a shot again. Looking back at my bink.ccp, it looks like this: FORBIDDEN_SYMBOL_ALLOW_ALL /* ResidualVM - A 3D game interpreter * * ResidualVM is the legal property of its developers, whose names * are too numerous to list here. Please refer to the COPYRIGH...
