Its just a mass of files with no installer or exacutable so im a little lost :P. I thought the Win32 daily snapshot (in the CVS Builds section on the downloads page) was an installer, but I could be wrong. As long as one of the files is called scummvm.exe or something similar, you should be able to...

I adapted the top line of what it says in terminal to: /Users/stuartbarrett/Desktop/scummvm-tools-0.8.0/compress_sword2--vorbis-m speech1.clu That said no file or directory found so I added the location of the speech1.clu file (which is a seperate file on the desktop): /Users/stuartbarrett/Desktop/...

As far as I know, the only save mechanism in Gobliiins 1 is the password you receive when solving a level.

Annoying, isn't it?

Re: ijatlc with audio tracks?

I've read on the net about a version of indiana jones and the last crusade with vga graphics and audio tracks. I've seen a version with vga graphics but i've never heard about audio tracks. that version exists? That would be the rare and expensive FM Towns version of the game. Or so I'm told -- I'v...

Re: I don't know how to compress audio of Broken sword 2

I don't know how to compress speech and music of Broken sword 2 with scumm tools can you explain me thanks Well, none of the ScummVM compression tools have a graphical user interface. They're meant to be run from a command line. How to do that depends on your operating system. Once you have a comma...

The browser shows directories (or "folders", as they're called in some operating systems) not files, i.e. you select the directory where the sky.cpt, sky.dnr and sky.dsk files are.

Re: The Dig: stuck (?)

Hello Not sure if this is a bug or not. Tried this with both ScummVM 0.8.0 and the latest CVS (24/12/05). While playing the Dig, I am stuck at the tomb spire, inside the tomb. After I light up the place, a statue appears which turns to dust when touched. After that, I am supposed to click on the ba...

That cleared things up, thanks :) By the way, I've compressed the music of BS1 with the tool provided, however 1 music file was left out (6M13.wav). I'm not sure if this is intentional That piece of music is apparently not used by the game. (It's not listed in the _tuneList[] array in sword1/static...

Re: Speech Codec

http://www.speex.org/ Have you ever considered using this for compressing speech as this is its primary use rather than ogg and mp3 which is aimed at music. The idea has been brought up a few times, but I don't know if anyone has bothered to check if Speex would really provide any tangible benefits...

I've added some debugging messages which could possibly help track down the problem. They should be in the next daily snapshot, or at the very least the one after that. Starting ScummVM from a command line at debug level 3 (i.e. the -d 3 command-line option) or higher should then produce a bunch of ...
