Blade Runner has been brought up several times on the ScummVM boards ( http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=1549 ) and it would seem that while it is within the scope of ResidualVM it has most of its logic hard coded. That means it would (most likely) take a lot more work to bring support for t...

I experienced some crashes, but it looks like they had to do with missing datafiles. It would be really good if someone with the knowledge could update the required datafiles wiki to cover SCI games! In general, you need everything except the .exe, .txt and .drv files. For KQ6 you also need to rip ...

No, at least Discworld Noir and Grim Fandango has 3D sprites on 2D backgrounds.

Finished Broken Sword 2 (Win English) with pre042931 on MacOS 10.5 (intel). Experienced one crash during the museum scene that I couldn't recreate, probably just my computer that's acting up. Otherwise no problems. One thing I thought about when I installed the game though: The Datafiles wiki-page s...

A few comments to that list: None of the early AGI games had MT-32 sound, most likely none did, apart from maybe KQ4 since that was released simultaneously as the SCI version. Monkey Island Madness is not a game, it's a collection. Secret of MI only need an extra patch for the EGA version, I believe...

It also had a different opening animation, played from a windows media avi-file. I believe that it had slightly more animations, more voice-over, a different soundtrack and ended with an animated KQ-logo.

"Where to buy games", Steam and similar...

The "Where to buy games" wiki page is great to have around and very useful especially for new users, whenever abandonware discussions pop up, etc. But I would very much like some improvements to it. First of all, there has been a lot of discussion about the Lucasarts Steam releases, whethe...

I think Steam has DRM on it's executables, but if the data files are untouched they should be playable with ScummVM!
