The Dig (can't finish) SOLVED

I hope somebody here with a VERY GOOD memory has played The Dig to it's conclusion. I am to the point that The Alien in the Pyramid says he is giving me a something, but I do not receive it. My guess is that I missed something that triggers it. Can somebody either tell me the color and shape of the ...

yeah, thats pretty much what the readme file says, but whenever I try to launch scummvm, I get a dos window, then it freezes, and I have to end task. As I remember that dos warning was about some file missing. It was discussed and explained by someone here. Turns out the missing file is generated l...

Simply install ScummVM and launch it. Then click on Add Game. Now find the directory your game files are in and click Choose. After ScummVM adds your game it will be listed in ScummVM and you launch your game from there.

I'm just about ready to incorporate the DOS Historical Preservation Society ( http://www.dospreservation.org ). If you'd care to donate your disks, I'll gladly make the arrangements with you. All unaltered disks will be copied in a track-per-track format, and any that can be legally distributed wil...

I'll give you a list of the games so you can see if they are something you might want.

My old computers probably still work, but I am not interested in playing games on those old fellas. Besides, they have earned their retirement.

A list will follow.

5 1/4 Floppies

I have about 100 (haven't counted them) 5 1/4 floppies that range from DOS 3 to some Kings Quest, Space Quest and other games. Just curious if there is some group or a museum or some such that they would be worth something to. If there is an interest in them I'll go through them and give you more in...

Hello, I didn't want to be rude, but if someone complains about drive letters in a file dialog, it is very likely, that he is a beginner. The target of this forum is not to tell beginners, what drive letters are. BTW: It is normal, that ScummVM tells at the first start, that it can't find the ini-F...

I don't understand your anger, but thanks for the information anyway. I just had not had time to look at the program until now. I do have the game running although in a small window. May have to go to a different resolution to play it. Your advice to get a book for beginners seems rather rude, but m...

This line works: scummvm.exe -cC:\Windows\scummvm.ini I no longer get a "Warning", but now I have to do some searching to figure out how to add my game files to scummvm. All I get when I click on "Add Game" is the letters A through H rather than files. Thanks for the bat file inf...

ScummVM uses Bash style parameters. So you can either use "scummvm.exe --config=X:\scummvm.ini" OR "scummvm.exe -cX:\scummvm.ini" You recognize the syntax? eg. no spaces whatsover within the same parameter. No to recognizing the syntax, but from your last line &q...
