Re: Monkey Island 1 - Mac
I appreciate the reply. I tend to launch my games via command line, so I don't see the options in the main menu when I am starting things up (I like to launch my stuff from the same front end as my other games, rather than use specific launchers for each). I went and looked up someone running the ga...

Re: Monkey Island 1 - Mac
For reference, here is a proper screen shot (taken from 2.8.0)
I've noticed it also butchers the aspect ratio with the scaler on.

Monkey Island 1 - Mac
The 2.9.0 release notes say, "Improved graphics support for Macintosh MI1, MI2 and Fate of Atlantis" So I thought I would take a look. I have attached a screen shot. Since when is applying a scaler like 2xsai an "improvement". The rounded off pixels look very unnatural. I have no...

Starship Columbus
Yet another IF game that accepts no commands.
Typing inventory causes ScummVM to just exit immediatly.
Used a walkthrough to ensure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Tested with 2.9.0git8800 (Oct 1st Daily Build)

Operation Stealth Graphics
I was testing Operation Stealth speeds in DOSBox the other day, and deceed to compare htm to ScummVM to see how it compared. I stumbled across the fact that the graphics are fairly different with the game, using the exact same set of files. I've attached a screen shot. In it you can see the left scr...

Champion of the Raj
https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Champion_of_the_Raj Claims to be supported since 2.2.0 However I can not get the game folder to rexognize on a recent daily build or the last stable build. I tried 2.5.0 and it thought it was an unknown groovie game variant (???) I was specifically trying the...

It makes no sense to assume the end user wants the windows version. Especailly if certain windows assets aren't even available.

Re: Leisure Suit Larry Talkie Versions
the games that have talkie back ported into them also support the old game files. the lsl reloaded project was built from the ground up. it doesn't use the same engine or asset types as the original game. There were also several liberties taken in the games script that would make it different from t...

Re: Alone, Under Strange Night
Thank you. I have checked those, and while there is lots of great content there, for wintermute in general there are lots missing. Unfortunately, most of these games were self hosted on developer websites around 2000-2015. And a majority of these sites no longer exist. I've been going through the ga...

Alone, Under Strange Night
Howdy folks. I was looking for some of the old Wintermute freeware games that ScummVM now supports. Along the way I got into contact with the author of "Alone, Under Strange Night" due to his old download link being long dead and it not being cached by the wayback machine. Unfortunately, h...
