First of all, I'm not sure if this applies to all FM Towns games. The only one I own is Loom, but I have seen Monkey Island screenshots online that seem to confirm it has the same issue. Perhaps I'm just dense, but in reading the usage for compress_scumm_san, it seems like if I just put in the filenames and directories, it should apply zlib compression to the video and leave the audio alone.
