To test, you should update to the newest version of ScummVM, by downloading one of the recent daily builds. Most, if not all, of those bugs should be fixed in the newest version.
If the bugs are still there, then you should file a bug-report.

This is another example of how poor this game is: I thought I had explored everything possible, and was at a massive dead end, so I decided to get a prompt from a walkthrough, the prompt said that their is a cupboard with a lightbulb in it at the office. Even KNOWING this, it still took me about 60...

Sad that the team feels Facebook is a better medium for news posting rather than your own site  As you may infer, I don't [and will likely never] have an account. If you follow http://planet.scummvm.org you'll get all information that is relevant to the project. I also don't care for Facebook...

Well, to make a 'point and click RPG', your best bet is probably AGS, as it has the most functionality of the engines mentioned here. It's designed mainly for adventure games though, so designing a combat system would require some programming skill and time investment. It's certainly possible though...

Ok. You do need the files that are installed to finish the game, but you can get them without running the installer. The scummvm readme has basic instructions. Basically you need the files compressed in the data1.cab file. 7zip should be able to do this. The format might even be native to Windows 7,...

Re: Support for You Don't Know Jack Volume 2?
It doesn't seem to be able to find the disc ScummVM is not an all-purpose emulator. It can only play games that have been specifically added to the program, which can be found at the compatibility page . There is a pretty good list of games at this point, but the project will only support point 'n ...

Extremely doubtful (Activision owns the rights), but hopefully it will be something of interest.fischkopf wrote: I hope it's a new Gabriel Knight!

Well, there doesn't seem to be a daily build made specifically for ubuntu, but it's not very hard to get the source and compile yourself on Linux . You just need to install git to get the source code. Most of what you need is already built in to Linux, except the SDL-devel libraries. Oh btw, for Ubu...

... when I download it. Any idea why this might happen? How do I re-assure myself that it is not malicious? are there keys/checksums I can verify? (It's the first time Chrome has said this for any file I've downloaded) It's open source, you could always check. It's not malicious though. Dunno why C...

According to the current compatibility list of the latest stable version, Soltys is not yet supported. So, no you can't play it on Android yet. Probably in the next version.

Now, for those of you who, like me, have an interest in RPGs, comes the announcement of a new Kickstarter project to create Wasteland II . This. Even though this forum is largely about adventure games, I hope some people will hope over and donate to this. Wasteland is an amazing game, and the genre...
