Curse of Monkey Island Cutscenes

They run kind of slow on my PSP. I did a search of the forums, and didn't really turn anything up. Is there a fix to this problem?

I did read! I read the wonder posts that you all made, which led me to success! :D

Also, based on that experience, I feel like I can now get the job done with other games, and plus, i'm sure this will help other noobs in the future. So, yeah, you're welcome! I'll expect a check in the mail.

Hmmm...well then...I stand corrected! Fantastic, it's only been 3 pages worth of "Reading the manual"/"Reading instructions" posts :) I hope you realize that if everyone never bothered to read instructions and/or existing threads, this forum would be full of threads like this on...

clem wrote:(this might sound stupid but) do you have the lame encoder installed? (if you type just "lame" instead of the compress_sword1 command does it start the encoder?)
It appears so.

I have the music files from both cds into a MUSIC subdirectory. It doesn't seem to care. :( From what I understand, that message means that it couldn't find any of the first twenty music files it expected -- 1M2.WAV , 1M3.WAV , etc -- in the MUSIC folder. Are all those files directly inside the MUS...

Does the scummVM website not link to the most current files? It does, there is an older stable version (0.11.1) and a newer unstable version (SVN, 0.12.0). You downloaded the stable version tools (version 0.11.1). The error message you got is self-descriptive: "Please copy the music files from...

Yes, I just did and it's still asking me about params. I think the input directory parameter is a fairly new invention for this program, and you probably have an older version. I'd try it without the ".", like you did the first time when it complained abuot the missing SPEECH and MUSIC fo...

md5 wrote:Did you put the dot in the end?

It's got to be like this:

Code: Select all

compress_sword1 --mp3 .
(note the dot)
Yes, I just did and it's still asking me about params.

Fair enough. Round 2! So I did that, and got this: (screenshot) So now what? That's all gibberish to me. Which version of the tools are you using? The help screen is slightly different for me with current tools: the parameters expected here are: compress_sword1 [params] <inputdir> so I guess you ne...

Type compress_sword1 --mp3 . "--mp3", not "--MP3". It's important. The ".", because it expects a directory where it can find the SPEECH and MUSIC directories. "." is always the current directory. Ok, I did that, and I still got the screen I posted in my last ...
