Sven Peter recently has applied a patch to libfat called "usbstorage module for wii" (as comment in his blog entry "USB Status 1.1".)
Just another step :)

Nintendo Wii Update 16.06.
Testing Broken Sword on my Wii I noticed yesterdays Nintendo Update. The description says, "unauthorized save data will be removed."

As Wii port tester you probably don't want that.

As for the save/load menu, [...] for the first game you used F5 (if I'm not mistaken) for the save/load menu Both keys ESC and F5 should work, which are mapped to Minus and Home on the WiiMote. So I tested my BS1 (German DXA/OGG). I had do move the Cluster-Files from a CLUSTERS subfolder back into ...

I experienced the same issue trying to add Broken Sword 2 (German, DXA+OGG) in R32565. It obviousely could not find the game files, because I used subfolders for CLUSTERS, VIDEOS and SWORD2. After moving CLUSTERS and INF files back into the main game directory, the game was recognized. The Videos wo...

Re: Broken Sword 1
And i can´t save. When i point the curser to the upper boarder, there is no save icon and when i push the home key, i got back to the homebrew channel. In Broken Sword 1 the upper border is your inventory and the lower border lists your conversation topics, so there is no save icon. Some Key (minus...

I have to ask the annoying question again ;) The file woodruff.itk is about 533 MByte in size (german best of sierra version) and zip-compressed together with intro.stk it's 204 MByte. I don't know how much is possible with sound and video compression here. I remember The Feeble Files compression (4...

SCUMMVM Wii Themes
Since the Wii port got a dedicated forum, I want to point to a topic started by CyberAxe regarding Wii Themes. If you need a bigger font etc. on your TV, those themes may interest you.

AFAIK nintendo unfortunately did not implement a driver for Bluetooth HIDs, only USB-Keyboards are supported, which is quite sad I think. So, it's the same thing like a USB Mass Storage Device Driver - someone has to provide such driver first. Of course I would be more than happy to see both feature...
