I was just about to ask - how is this a scummvm thing? Unless the ScummVM is causing the monitor to react this way. Does your monitor do this regularly? Or does this happen only when you run scummvm in full screen? This does sound like a Dell (hardware) only issue and not a scummvm (software) issue....

How can I get back into the SCUMM program to de-select the "Full screen" option? It should be possible to either start ScummVM from a command prompt, with scummvm --no-fullscreen . Or you could look for the ScummVM configuration file. On many systems (including Windows) it's called scummv...
