It would be nice to include these extensions in ScummVM.

Re: Orly's Draw a Story
Well, you answered that question yourself: it is "partially supported" (actually, it is not even that). The engine is missing the game-specific code. The demo is there for completion's sake and for the potential devs. The game is not on the compatibility list, and there is no progress on t...

Looking into your problem is much more time-consuming for us. Locking the topic.

Re: Trouble with shaders
You have to add gui/themes to themepath and dists/engine-data to extrapath.

Re: Frontend compatible
It is not clear what you mean by "making it compatible with frontend apps." What does that imply? What is the problem in general?

Re: Buried in Time (Journeyman Project 2)
Moderatorial: Locking the topic with pointless drama and gross off-topic. The user has been banned for violating several forum rules, particularly for personal attacks. ScummVM even has an official Raspberry Pi port. I have no idea what you're talking about. We love as many platforms as possible, a...

Re: Buried in Time (Journeyman Project 2)
Just a heads up: the first link isn't helpful at all in cases like this. When you're running ScummVM through Retroarch (the multi-emulator front-end for a RetroPie), that entire guide for adding games to ScummVM becomes utterly irrelevant, as the interface is completely different for it, as is the ...

Re: "Save" option is gone
No. It didn't happen with the previous version. I don't know which version I had used before though. I haven't played Discworld for about 4 months. But the button was still there back then. 🤔 I am not sure what made you this impression, but this feature was disabled 15 years ago. Discworld engine i...

Re: An unknown SCI0 game can't be added to game list
No, currently, it is not possible. We have to add it explicitly to our detection tables. It might never be possible: the SCI engine has way too many subtly different versions, so a developer should provide the precise engine flags for a game entry.

Androids get a companion. iOS port public testing
The day has come. We are super happy to announce public beta testing for the iOS port of ScummVM in the store. Yes, you read it right! Since Lars Sundström, aka @lman , joined our team as the iOS porter, we have made significant progress. Thus, you no longer need to compile ScummVM yourself in order...

Syberia games become more accessible
Following our announcement about affiliation with ZOOM-Platform, we would like to give a note that they have just started to offer the Macintosh versions of Syberia 1 and Syberia 2 bundled with ScummVM. This is important because ScummVM currently supports only the Macintosh versions of these games. ...
