Residual Future

I know that currently Residual only partially supports Grim Fandango and the Grime Fandango Demo and hopefully in the future will also support Escape From Monkey Island. But I think it would be great if plans for Residual future could include support for these games/engines: - Telltale Games current...

Changes: - Cleaning of code. - Many in the engine section....

I know ScummVM doesn't emulate anything (except the midi), Sorry I misunderstood the original post I thought it was just asking for them to be added to ScummVM as I was just quickly reading through the thread.

That's interesting. But the comment about not being an emulator is a bit odd as all the dos lemmings games used the same engine until lemmings 2. So it would be doable to set-up a system like ScummVM has that supports a range of games and versions.

But thanks for the link to the Tundra project.

The first time you open residual it creates the ~/.residualrc file and closes. So you can then add the directory of where you have copied the cd contents on the hard drive then save ~/.residualrc and restart residual and it should run this time. If it still doesn't run then I don't know I've never h...

Debian/Ubuntu Residual Build

I've compiled and packed Residual for Ubuntu (should also work fine on Debian) and tested it on Ubuntu 8.04. http://rapidshare.com/files/140038201/residual_0.0.6svn-20080825_i386.deb.html My ~/.residualrc file looks like this and it works fine: [residual] versioninfo=0.0.6svn [grim] joystick=TRUE mu...
