To those who might be interested: the German version has been released today. I don't know about other languages.

I think I remember that this problem only occured in some pirated versions.

Just kidding. I haven't got a clue. ;-)

Most of the work could be done if there are different .txt files which contain the words. But I think, we had this discussion already.

I thought it was an okay game but suffers from very poor English translation and terrible dubbing. That's what I meant. And the German subtitles are even worse. Gilbert Goodmate or Tony Tough at least had a nice trash factor (though they are technically not really Z games, but their stories and bac...

Sorry, but there is one thing I have to say: Drascula is of such a poor quality, that Gilbert Goodmate looks like a masterpiece in comparison.

Is there anyone who actually LIKED this game?

. You could die in several places almost "randomly" and those were pretty rare. I think I died about 3 times playing the original, but I didn't like that one bit. Neither of the the death scenes mentioned above seem to be very random to me. If you touch high voltage electric circuits, it ...

It seems that the dying scenes have been removed. They were removed on Wii as well. Anyway I prefer that version a lot. The death scenes didnt really fit. It was like 95% lucasarts-like (no death) and 5% sierra-like (instant deathtraps). I don't think that they were actually censored, but were remo...

My first experience was a Windows version acouple of years ago. It must've been somewhat like version 0.6, I think.

Ok, I finished the game. A real nice remake, though the removal of death scenes is quetionable. But the pro side is a lot bigger. And there is a beautiful Easter Egg at the end.

Well, I don't anticipate the lack of death scenes, but I do anticipate to lack of electroshocking Maguire and Khan.

It seems that the dying scenes have been removed. When I try to get out of the Hotel Ubu with the manuscript, George refuses to do so because of Flap and Guido. If I try to interrupt the Templars' meeting that I overhear in Montfaucon, George says, it would be a bad idea to disturb them. When I am i...

Well there are enough generic adventure fora out there where it would fit better (and in fact, here is a junkyard forum where all the not-ScummVM-related stuff would fit better). I like to discuss about recent adventure games (and other ones that are not supported), but these fora are not the right ...
