Re: Big adventures ahead - Little Big Adventures

I just downloaded the latest development build and have the CD music ripped to flac (as track1.flac etc.) in the game folder, but it's not working for me (Windows x64 dev. build). Am I missing something / should I explicitly enable soemthing? I see 'UseCD false' and 'Failed to query the CD TOC' in ...

Re: Big adventures ahead - Little Big Adventures

This is great! Can we also assume LBA2 will be supported down the line? I don't think we can assume it, but I think it is being seriously considered because some preliminary detection code for LBA2 was added towards the end of November. https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/commit/f079ae1bb6bb7f35e3ca...

Re: A merger

This is great news! Hopefully it will bring more attention to the work of the ResidualVM team, and lead to more 3D engines being added like Discworld Noir and Broken Sword 3 and 4.

Re: Broken Sword 1 Directors Cut ScummVM

Will there be any support for Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - The Director's Cut in the future? That one has a prequel scenario set before the events of the first game, and still uses the Virtual Theatre engine as the original. And if it's supported, will the datafiles for either Wii or PC v...

Re: Games, particularly Monkey Island

Also, if you get access to a Windows PC be aware that doing the stuff above will only give you the DOS version of Monkey Island (no CD music and no voices which weren't added until the special edition). However, you can get the classsic DOS version with added CD music (with a choice between the rema...

Re: Monkey 1 Ultimate Talkie Edition (released)

I've recently installed scummvm 2.0.0 on my HTC m8 one, at the same time I've downloaded MI 1 (CD/DOS/english). I want to make this into talkie, I've read some of these post, but I'm not that technology savvy. How do I go about this, what is the easiest way. Is there a simple download? Thanks all. ...

Re: Humble Bundle has a lot of Sierra Games on sale

On top of that, the first two Gabriel Knight games and Phantasmagoria are included in the bundle and also supported by ScummVM (although, unlike the games you listed I haven't played them)!

Barrington Pheloung (composer of the Broken Sword Soundtrack) has passed away

In the news today I saw that Barrington Pheloung who wrote the soundtrack for Broken Sword has passed away at the age of 65. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-49190169 His music was equally amazing and beautiful and something which I have kept on my phone for years. I am very sorry to he...

Re: Pink Panther (passport to...)

I'd greatly prefer to play it in Scumm VM. I don't really remember what issue I had, but most likely - my dislike for fullscreen. And in Scumm VM everything can be played in a window. Will the Polish version be supported as well? I think that's what I have: "Różowa Pantera w świat się wybiera&...

Re: Pink Panther (passport to...)

Aant idea of a release date :)?0 Well, you can play it in ScummVM now if you download a development build from the BuildBot (which I did). It is already classed as completable, so although there may be bugs, it should be possible to reach the end of the game. As it is, the only bug I have noticed (...

Although it has only been announced for Apple's service so far, they did say they will announce other platforms later (including the PC).

Re: [REQUEST] Monopoly 2000 and Hoyle Card Games 2005 Suppor

Could you possibly support Hoyle Card Games 2005 and Monopoly 2000? I played these games as a child and wanted to relive the memories again. Is this possible? :D :D :D ScummVM doesn't work by request, it takes many months, if not years, of hard work to support a single game. This would require some...

Re: TWIN engine (was poll)

Hey guys, Sorry to bump this old topic but it may be of interest of some of the members. Lupin and I from MBN community have been working on a new engine for LBA2, that can be played directly in a web browser: http://lba2remake.xesf.net/ It's just a work in progress at this point, far from being fu...
