Re: Does this announcement mean the closing of this project?
(...) he is gonna incoorporate some of the enhancements into the GF Remaster version That's interesting, to say the least. This would mean it won't be a full out remake, but a port with some enhancements thrown in. And that's what a remaster is, really. Still, I'm eagerly awaiting official news and...

Re: Does this announcement mean the closing of this project?
It is not a PS4/Vita-exclusive, more platforms are coming, according to @timoflegend. I saw the second tweet later, so it's a timed exclusive then. Still, we don't know anything at this point, and no matter what this "remastered version" turns out to be, it's completely unrelated to the c...

Re: Does this announcement mean the closing of this project?
Hopefully, it won't. First of all, we have no idea how the remastered version will look like [unless I'm missing something, but the E3 presentation did not show a thing], so having an alternative that is as close to the original material as possible, yet slightly improved, will always be a good idea...

Re: Which games would you like to be supported on the future?
Shadow of the comet was i nice adventure - i have the original german CD in my shelf and would love it to play this again with scummvm... Same here. I also have the CD somewhere, but since the installation is, to put it mildly, less than convenient on a Win 8.1 machine, I've been keeping my fingers...

I, for one, would really like to see the Ecstatica games revived through Residual, as well as The City of Lost Children. They well deserve it. Certainly more than Diablo, since, in my opinion, it's outside of the scope for Residual. I'm actually quite surprised that Residual never enjoyed as much su...

No problem. There doesn't seem to be that many people interested in the N64 build, so at least my time spent with the game did not go to waste. Actually, once the Nintendo 64 version crashed, I connected a laptop to my TV, and completed the game using DOSBox. I just felt like playing Teenagent, and ...

Teenagent - Nintendo 64 Exception Error
I was testing the Nintendo 64 version of ScummVM yesterday, and I took Teenagent for a spin. It's not a long game, so my intention was to finish it in one sitting. Everything ran smoothly up to the point when you lower the basket [using a spanner] for the little boy, trying to score a point. After I...

Under Windows, use Cygwin. You can find the links here. Follow the directions from readme.n64, and you'll be fine. Don't forget to correct the checksums. If you'll be using the Myth, you don't have to pad the image.

(...) while I am sure the Gobli(ii)ns games can be fun, they do seem rather silly to me. The series represents a certain brand of humor. It's mostly the actions of the goblins that are supposed to be funny, not the witty dialogues. People complain about how Gobliiins 4 turned out, but I think it's ...

Both of your links are the same [ShopTemp]. As for the idea, it would mean the developer has to get the hardware, and then everyone else has to get it as well. It took long enough to get the expanded RAM build out the door, and that's an add-on many people have. This would mean focusing on one speci...

I guess the best way to release such a game is to keep it quiet, and spread the word when it's finished. Once it's out there, it's out there, and there's nothing anybody can do to stop it from spreading. Then again, praise that comes from releasing new media and updates is good for morale. Hehe. Tou...
