If you're on 4.3 you will already have IOS58 installed. If you don't, and you just want the option of IOS58, then use Tantric's installer (see Wiibrew or WiiMC). For those having problems with installing WADs on 4.3 run the latest version of PimpMyWii, which will re-instate Trucha, and you should b...

Try this:
Download and run IOS 236 Installer.
Download and run Anytitle Deleter MOD, and make sure it uses the newly installed IOS 236.
Uninstall the old ScummVM Channel(SCUM) with Anytitle deleter.
Use Wadmanger 1.7 with IOS 236 to install the new ScummVM Channel.

Wasn't that WiiMC ios 202 a custom ios to unlock USB 2.0? The one made by KWiirk? Just trying to find it on Wiibrew I see the page has been deleted. Team Twiizers recent addition of USB 2.0 is much more elegant as it uses Nintendo's USB 2.0 which had been introduced with one of the balance board ga...

Try this: Download and run WiiMC ios 202 installer 1.1 (google) Download newest ScummVM 1.2.0, extract to SD and make a copy of boot.elf. Rename this copy to boot.dol so that you have both boot.elf and boot.dol in scummvm folder. Hopefully this should work. edit: Yeah I see what you mean now with bo...

Are you using the new forwarder which was removed, or the old one?
If you are using the new one, it shouldn't be necessary to rename boot.elf to boot.dol.
If you are using the old forwarder, you must rename boot.elf to boot.dol. Do not "convert" to boot.dol

I am having a strange issue when I am using the forwarder (still the one with the little s). If I launch the scummvm boot.dol from sd:/apps/scummvm, everything works fine. If I launch it from the usb1:/apps/scummvm, The program fails to mount the usb harddisk. Due to that, it can't find scummvm.ini...

Looking forward to the new channel Mr_Nick666. There will of course be proper support for .elf loading too, right? ;)

For me this only happens with the new nightly builds that have boot.elf instead of boot.dol. Since the forwarder doesn't load elf files I have to convert to dol with the elf2dol tool. The Homebrew Channel loads the new dol fine, but the forwarder doesn't. sounds more like that "forwarder" ...

OK. I have successfully converted 0.14.0svn41938 boot.elf to boot.dol with the elf2dol tool, and ScummVM loads fine from the HBC.

When I load with the forwarder however, ScummVM starts with the old classic skin, and all settings are back to default.

Seems to me that scummvm.ini is not being read.

I had already tried to convert to dol, but then the HBC said it's not a valid Wii application anymore.
