N64 images not booting in emulators

Hi. I was wondering if there was something specific needed to make the N64 port images boot in an emulator? I used the ucon64 method to prepare the cart image, but I get some indefinite loop error when I try to load it in any N64 emulators. Is the current wiki method only accurate for N64 copier car...

BartPE isn't a good alternative to a Linux disc, for two reasons. 1. The sound can't be enabled, unless you have the skills to create a custom driver. There are a few pre-made plugins out there, but they are specific to the motherboard's chipset audio. 2. Not redistributable. 'Live discs' created fr...

Coders: Different compression libraries for DC port?

I recently put in this request here at the tracker for OGG compression in the DC port: DC: Support for OGG compression? - ID: 3066867 I was wondering if any of the coders out there would be willing to contribute some of their time, a little at a time, to add the required OGG libraries to the Libroni...

There were already PET versions for 1.0.0 out there, but thanks anyways. I'm looking for the latest stable, or SVN version.

Could someone possibly compile the lastest stable version as a pet?

For various technical reasons, I'm unable to do this myself.

You're on a dialup connection? Nope. It's one of those USB modems, but not a standard external one. It's a cellular USB modem. The portable kind you can find through Verizon, AT&T, etc... Basically, it is a cellphone without the phone components, with about the same performance as using your ce...

Unfortunately, I have no way of connecting to the internet through Linux, as there are no drivers for my modem.

I appreciate the instructions, but rebooting to Windows each time to find the dependencies sounds tiresome. ;)

So there are no generic Linux binaries I could use with the PET tools to make an installer?

Unfortunately, I'm in no way qualified to compile stuff.

Thanks for the linkz though.

Puppy Linux '.PET'?

Hi. I was hoping someone here would know how to compile the Linux source into a 'pet' installer for the Puppy distros.

Or is it simply a matter of the way the files are packaged?

You know what, I hadn't tried the Alcohol 120% method until a couple days ago. Didn't even realize the option was there... Problem is that Alcohol 120% doesn't recognize the image. I had tried this on a Windows 98SE PC that I had an older version of Alcohol on. Does this require the latest version o...

Feeble Files?

I wonder if the Dreamcast port will ever be able to play large, multi-disc games, such as the Feeble Files... I noticed that Dcevolution recently put up an image of the demo version. Feeble Files Interactive Demo The main question being, before I pick up a copy of the game, is it possible it could b...

Discworld 1 Playstation needed files.

Hi there. On the wiki datafiles page, I noticed that the PSX version of Discworld isn't listed. Is there a required datafiles list for it somewhere?

I've already extracted the disc contents to my HD, and it works fine. But I'm hoping to trim the directory down to save HD space.

After reading about the ASPI layer, I downloaded and used the ASPI check proggy, and it told me I had no aspi layer installed. I'm not even sure if the wnaspi32.dll (frogaspi.dll) included with BD has anything to do with this error though. Anyone else here have an idea as to what's causing this error?
