Well, I didn't expect that exactly. I would have thought that if the app couldn't find something it needed, it would have been a library I got through Fink. It's possible that the fact that you've got 10.4 and I made my build on 10.5 probably has everything to do with that. I thought that maybe I ha...

I make no guarantees that this will work on your computer. I think it will. Just click here to download. Assuming it works, you'll want to follow the directions on the ResidualVM website for copying the needed files to your hard drive and just use the ResidualVM GUI to find the folder you put them i...

Re: What made old 'sound' so good - and why is it hard to g
I've herd terms like 'midi' and roland' come up alot. Why is it with all the 'next-gen' speakers and soundcards we can't replicate that sound now? You'll get more technical answers from others, but one major problem that affects MIDI is that over time where and what which instruments are slotted in...

Beware! Swotty perspective on IP follows. Run away! Of course, copyright changes a lot of things; but, historically, reworking something someone else has done is really the norm. Take the Trojan war as just one example. We have the Iliad , which is only a telling of a few days near the end of the wa...

The first of the Doctor Who games is available...but only if you are in the UK. And, yes, there are ways around that but apparently from what I've seen elsewhere the game checks to see whether or not you're in the UK when you try to install; of course, there are ways around that, too. But like I sor...
