Hi, I would care to disable the subtitles in King's Quest VII, but I can't find a way to do so within the latest stable release of ScummVM. Selecting voice only under the audio tab of the game's options does nothing and I've even tried creating a custom batch file to launch the game, yet the subtitles remain.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've had that happen to me in the Android version, but not the desktop version. No idea what would cause it, though.St_Eddie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 12:32 am Hi, I would care to disable the subtitles in King's Quest VII, but I can't find a way to do so within the latest stable release of ScummVM. I've opened a bug ticket for this here: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/15457St_Eddie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2024 12:32 am Hi, I would care to disable the subtitles in King's Quest VII, but I can't find a way to do so within the latest stable release of ScummVM. Could you test if the suggested tentative "solution" works for you? From the Game Options -> Audio tab (overriding global audio settings) set Audio to "Subtitles", click OK, then return to the Audio tab, set Audio to "Speech" and click OK again. And finally launch the game.
