Did you take a look here: http://www.scummvm.org/documentation.php?view=datafilesnightiger wrote:Hi,

You may have overwritten your speech.clu file, that is, if
you actually installed it to HD. (which you didn't tell us)
The original SMACKER cutscenes aren't (and never will be)
supported by ScummVM, you can, of course download the reencoded
MPEG cutscenes from here: http://scummvm.org/downloads.php

Re: Broken sword 1 no video/audio
I don't know if it's the same on all versions, but on the Sold-Out Software releases, the speech.clu files for Broken Sword 1 are in the SPEECH folders on the CDs. For Broken Sword 2 they are in the CLUSTERS folders on the CDs. They are not identical, so you should rename them speech1.clu and speech2.clu so ScummVM can tell which is from the first CD and which is from the second one.nightiger wrote:I've not the speech.clu files... :-\
Or do you mean you don't have the speech.clu files because you didn't buy the game? In that case, we can't help you.

I have the game but I didn't understand that these files are on the cd.eriktorbjorn wrote:Or do you mean you don't have the speech.clu files because you didn't buy the game? In that case, we can't help you.

Did you wait a while? The Broken Sword 1 intro is supposed to be all black until the little speech has ended. Then the music begins in earnest, and the Revolution logo should appear.nightiger wrote:I followed the documentation now I heard the voice but I still not see the animation ... :\
I copied the ogg file in the smackshi directory.
Tnx

I thought you said you heard the voice-over. Oh well. Here's how my Broken Sword 1 directory looks:nightiger wrote:When I start the game, the player was in front of the bar after the explosion.

As clem already said, ScummVM probebly won't look in any "Smackshi" folder. (Well, 0.9.0 probably will, but not 0.8.2.) And it definitely won't look for any .smk files. It will look for the re-encoded cutscenes which are .mp2 (for the video), .ogg (for the audio) and .pal (optional palette data).nightiger wrote: Saves/
