ScummVM 0,9,0 On 1.5 psp help with saving

Post by kaskel2000 »

Ok Ive gotten scumm to work on my knewly downgraded 1.5 psp. It plays Monkey Island 1 really well the only problem is that when i press save it comes up with "failed to state save to monkey.s01" . Ive chosen a path for the saves and tried many different routes including putting a SAVE folder in the scummvm folder but none of this has worked.

Thank you for any help.

To be bruitaly honest I can't see that copying 2 folders accross from my computer to PSP again would really help as thats all installation really is.

It doesnt mater where the path is set. None of it works. Any other suggestions anyone?

The save path set in the launcher is ignored on PSP, it'll always save to /scummvm_saves/ on ms0 (memory stick), and create that directory if it doesn't exist.

How much space do you have left on your memory stick? Do other games (e.g. FOTAQ or BASS) have trouble saving as well? Does the scummvm_saves directory exist after starting ScummVM? If not, does it make a difference if you create it yourself?
