i tryed it, but no success he say it isnt an windows ce exe. i have windows ce with an ARM processor

Wasn't there some special thing about exes for WM2003 Smartphone? With WM 5, the same executable would run on both (just the cab needs to be differently packed), but on 2003...?

Please also try this version. IIRC wince4.2 is the 2003(SE?) version. What type of device do you have exactly?

I am still of the opinion that WM 2003 Smartphone and WM 2003 PocketPC applications are different, while both may be CE 4.2.

Reason: I've developed a PocketPC application myself, which runs on PocketPC 2002, on PocketPC 2003, and on Mobile 5 both Pocket PC and Smartphone.

But while it runs on Mobile 5 Smartphone, and on 2003 Pocket PC, is produces the same error on 2003 Smartphone.
