ScummVM Team seeks Broken Sword 1 Mac demo

Hi, we just added support to Macintosh version of Broken Sword 1 to ScummVM thanks to patch from Thierry Crozat aka criezy, so we need more testing of this version.

Also I have a little request. Does anyone heard/has Macintosh demo of Broken Sword 1? Did it ever exist? If it was created, then I would love to have it, so further testing could be performed. Please, drop me a note.

Yeah, we could do with some more rare demo recovering, hehe! I'm a bit of a collector myself. ^_^

I'm still waiting personally for someone to uncover the full CD version of the Broken Sword II PC demo and up it somewhere, as I feel that gets neglected a tad much.

BTW, if anyone wants to test the PS1 games, I have both BSes in PAL/UK format.

I have the NTSC one, and I tried it (before dxa support). The mp2 timing didn't match up. It crashes when reading the speech.clu file (there's only one).

Yes, it does exist....
it was included on the CD version of MacFormat magazine Nº 53, and am looking at it as I type....
If you still want/need it, just yell...

Thanks to clone2727 who, using the hint from Doctor Whoever, located the game on some Belgian auction, joostp was able to purchase that coverdisk. So now we got the demo and I will be able to complete support for it.

Still, if somebody will find the full game for me, I will appreciate it. I will accept direct donation, URL to some auction, or will compensate a reasonable amount of money if you're selling your own copy.
