eLoader compatibility thread

Post by wololo »

Hello, this is my first post here, so I'd like to thank the developpers of scummvm, and joostp for the psp port, this is probably the best emulator on this console right now. Monkey Island was the first video game I played on a pc (I was 9) and I am really happy to play it again.

Enough off topic, the goal of this thread is eLoader compatibility. I know that eLoader is not officially supported by scummvm, but it actually works, and some of us can't downgrade their psp currently (yes, I'm a lucky TA082 owner).

But I guess some memory problems might occur, some games might not work, etc... so I'd like to start a compatibility list.
Please feel free to add your own tests, and to confirm/dispute mine, I'll edit this post whenever I have new information !

Very nice, thanks!

I'm stickying this for the people who are stuck with eLoader (which is still unsupported), hopefully it'll stop some of the recurring eLoader questions that I'm unable to answer myself.

Hopefully other people will post their eLoader findings and experiences in this thread as well, so we have a central location where compatibility and quirks are documented.

I think the wiki allows less discussion than the forum... but if there is a clean way for other people to give feedback on their own experience, then ok...

It works for me on a FW 2.80 using the latest eLoader (0.9.9.5 Kriek) and ScummVM 0.9.1

i currently run Monkey Island 2 and Kyrandia without any problem.

It's amazing and fun :)
