Getting the manual?

Post by Muyfa666 »

I bought Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade on ebay, it was the 2-pack without both Fate of Atlantis and manual.

Which company should a I contact for a replacement manual? Lucasarts or The White Label?

I very much doubt that you will get much joy from either company as these titles have long been deleted (also I don't think there is any white label games anymore).

Not sure if this is any help but you can download -
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade - The Graphic Adventure
- Grail Diary

A good site for anyone looking for lost/not included manuals for consoles & PC. They've not got everything, but what they haven't got you could request on their forum.

I would think if you search through google or such, you will at least come across a plain text manual for these games. Best of luck.

As the manual is also copyrighted material, I would guess that you're violating rule #0.

Not to appear rude or something...

Yes, I think that that url are against the rules. I knew about replacementdocs before, but my mission in life FTM is to hunt down original copies of the LucasArts classics.

Tnx alot for the help thou.

Then why not just asking the auctioneer of the included stuff *before* bidding? 8)

Hehe... well thing is - I did get a manual with the game, but not the grail diary, with the copy protection or anything. I got the reference book. This was announced as "manual included".

Dear Herrscher I think you may have over reacted to what is only a document & not a game or part game.

While you say may be officially correct, there are 3 things to take into consideration -

1. The url I posted is still here so it looks like the ScummVM controllers don't have a problem with it otherwise they would have snipped it already

2. I find it hard to believe that LucasArts would not have noticed it - I expect they check this site regularly.

3. Replacementdocs.com site policy makes it quite clear to all who view & download from their site that if they have any connection with the document they can ask for it to be removed. I'm sure the game companies & their publishers are fully aware of replacementdocs.com & would soon object if they had issue with anyhing they were unhappy about.

it looks questionable to me, but I'm not really an authority on that

that's as if you're innocent until caught (no pun intended)

Maybe not what you are looking for, but I'm selling a copy of Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade WITH the manual and Grail Diary included.
