I'm in the process of getting a new phone - and it needs to have support for ScummVM
My choice would be the Sony P910i because of the touchscreen. Is the touchscreen also used for moving the mouse? Also this device seems to be one of the most compatible. But then i read this thread: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=33
Is the screen of the P910i better to read? And if not - which phone has the best screen?
The UIQ phones (P910, A1000,A920 etc) has a native resolution of 320x208, the Nokia 7710 has a resolution of 640x320 and the S80 phones has a resolution of 640x320. Most scummvm games are in 320x200 or 320x240 so thus UIQ or S80/90 has the best current support, eventhough S60 is reaching for higher resolutions but I have n't tested or included support for that yet. As for memory the P910 has 32mb sdram where as most S80&S90 phones only have 16mb memory and around 8-9 free, the P910 has around 18-20 mb free when booted.
As for pen and mouse usage you use the Pen for mouse, and for this UIQ and 7710 is pretty similar, the S80 phones does n't support touchscreen so you have to use the joystick as a mouse move instead, but on that you have access to the whole keyboard for quick access keys and input.
So generally I would pick a P910/A1000 (also has 32mb SDRAM) for touchscreen and memory size, and then the S80/S90 phones, which do support higher resolutions, no problems with the audio (stereo 16khz), and pretty good input + good memory and lastly the S60 series, which usually is heavly affected (specially older versions) of slow speeds, little memory and low screen resolution.
Ahh my mistake then, but the emulator has quite little memory set as default (16mb). So the actual device is much better then.
The 7710 has 28 mb of operating memory and around 13 mb free, so when it comes to memory I guess the 9300/9500 is the best. Just missing that touch screen.

Nokia 9300 and 9500 has a resolution of 640x200 pixels, not 640x320. Still fine for a game of DOTT though
