Here's hoping: The Neverhood

All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

You'll agree it's better than nothing. And, while I'm strictly a Windows user so I don't know how plausible this is, there are Windows emulators on Mac and Linux that could be utilized to convert the cutscenes.

No, it's not better. There are no non-x86 free emulators for Windows programs. Moreover existing emulators (i.e. wine) do not work on all platforms. And after all why talk about Neverhood when there is not a single line of code written?

If you look closely, I think you'll find that Wine Is Not an Emulator, as the name says. :P
Incidentally, this is precisely why it doesn't work on all platforms.

Oh, I do know what wine is. I was following its development almost from its inception. Just it's easier for users to say that it is emulator, just a restricted one, rather that putting myself into the long explanations (read on until 2.5) .

There were whispers once that the dev team was trying to reissue the game somehow (Google for "Neverhood 2000"), but apparently they were unable to secure funding.

And to think these guys were backed by Dreamworks once. Go figure.
