Savegames from pc ->phone and vice versa

Post by oksehud »

I have encountered a strange problem in Indy 4...

If I save the game on my phone, i can copy the atlantis.s01 file to my pc, and scummVM can load the game, and I can continue on the computer, but if i save the game on the pc, and copy the file to the phone, scummVM on the phone calls it "invalid savegame" and cant load it....

(I thought I could play around the balloon sequence on the pc, and the continue the game on my M600i, since the program crashes, whenever the balloon fliesoff the map...)

Any ideas ???

ScummVM optionally supports compressed savegames. The PC version would almost certainly support it, but the phone version might not. If you take the savegame created by the PC version and rename it atlantis.s01.gz you should be able to decompress it manually using WinZip, gunzip, or some other similar tool.

Thanks for the quick answer, should I then decompress the savegame on the pc, and transfer the contents of atlantis.s01 to the savegamefolder on the phone??

Edit: It WORKS....THX a lot... :D :D :D

Ahh .. hmm we have zip support in UIQ.. but apperently not turned on for the save games. :-) Always something new to learn. :-)
