oops... yeah, I kinda got lazy and stopped updating it... sidetracked by other things, ya know?

Gimme a sec, and I'll throw together a fixed version.

...

Done!
New version can be downloaded here.

Note: The theme has changed names, from ice-theme to modern_ice, so if you're installing this over an older version you'll want to delete the old one, and adjust your scummvm.ini appropriately.

Way back when (October), the JavacatVM coup failed. And, rather than see all the precious work go to waste, I have uploaded the JavacatVM theme. :P

Cheers! :D

Hahaha nice one clone2727 :)

On a serious note, would it be possible to have a page with custom themes, so that people can be more motivated to make some?

Nice theme, but one note. Add more games to your .ini file, i.e. duplicates, or something, until list scrollbar appear. You will see that you did not update scrollbar colors.
md5 wrote: Unzip it inside ScummVM's folder and select it from Options/Misc. There should be 2 files inside it: modern_blue.ini and modern_blue.zip
You could put modern_blue.ini right into modern_blue.zip and it will be ready to use theme. I.e. without need of any additional unpacking.

Yeah, I put that up right after I saw that there were more themes being created. :D

I really like the mouse cursor from modern-ice. Far more than our current one... :-)

Thanks for the feedback sev, fixed the scrollbar and uploaded the latest version in the wiki section:
http://wiki.scummvm.org/images/9/98/Modern_blue.zip

Ice theme:
http://wiki.scummvm.org/images/c/c7/Modern_ice.zip

Javacat theme:
http://wiki.scummvm.org/images/c/c3/JavacatVM.zip

Added the links to them in the wiki page too. Note that the versions in the wiki include the ini files as sev pointed, so you can just copy them in the ScummVM folder. The remote versions need to be unpacked in the ScummVM folder

I love new themes for ScummVM :)
Hopefully these weren't the last.

Even though I still like the oldschool theme.

Glad you like it. :) It's a design I'd been kicking around for a while. Simple, but stylish.

Also, someone should consider making a Monkey Island theme...

Ive had this idea for a theme, but unfortuneately know nothing about gui coding. But maybe ill bounce it off those who do.
The gui would be similar to the current svn, but as an added (completely aesthetic, but we are talking custom themes here :) )feature: an (iconic) image from the selected game would be shown in the background (like a character close-up etc. in the top left hand corner). For example, If Loom was selected, In the top left corner of the gui it would apply a layer to the background which could be the close up of elder Atropos from the begining of the game.Other examples could be, Guybrush in front of the monkey head for SMI, Bernard bugging out in the chrono-john in DOTT, Low cutting of Brinks arm in DIG ;).
I dont know if this is even plausable, but it was an idea that came to me some months ago when the custom guis first started showing up.
I dont know, what do you think?

This is not possible with our GUI Themes, but will require GUI code modifications. How are you going to determine which game is which? By game id? That will not work in all cases. Also launcher knows nothing about generic game ids, it has to query plugins first.
