Hey I know practially nothing about linux and i noticed there are mutiple packages of ScummVM for different linux platforms. The reason Im suddenly interested in The Linux port is because "Shirour" (the user on www.mrobe.org whos given so much for its community) has goten a fully functional version of linux kernel 2.6.15 running on the m:robe 500i, with touch screen support. This means that me and any other person with an m:robe can now play any of the Lucas classics such as Monkey Island on their mrobe! Im assuming that a new binary has to be compiled under the same setup as is on the M:robe? Any input would be awesome. Thanks,
Wazzaaah.

ScummVM on your M:robe?

I think that plainly recompiled binary woll to work well as you don't have a keyboard.
So proper approach would be to create are real port, possibly reusing code from other our backends (sigh, where is our SmallDevices backend?). I suppose that you will need an on-screen keyboard, perhaps, disable scalers, and may be use some other device-specific features.
In short, compiled binary based on our current code will run the games, but you will not be able even to open a save/load dialog, or quit a game.

atk for slax
Thanks Sev, ive been lookin into the lack of on screen keyboard and aparently slax has a library which is avalable on their site called atk version 1.9.1 http://www.slax.org/modules.php?categor ... 2&name=atk which is adds lots of accessability functions to slax. Also I heard of another desined for KDE called Viki, im lookin into that now.
EDIT: Turns out the distro used IS NOT Slax but Opie 1.2, based on Qtopia environment developed by Trolltech.
