Scummvm isn't loading on my MMD.help

I am using the MMD to try to run Scummvm but when I load the .nds files the top screen goes blank and thats all that happens.I tried selecting other files while the screen was blank and it acts like I never ran the first program and loads whatever else i open.Does anyone know how to fix this and can you please tell me how?Thanks either way.

Sorry if Im not posting correctly, but I generally try to avoid boards since im terrible at doing this stuff correctly.

It sounds like you haven't patched to the latest version of the MMD bios. There's a link on the ScummVM DS website to the patch you need to use.
