buttons disappear

Hi.

I'm running the scummvm on an iPAQ hx4700 and it's awesome - I'm playing DOTT - it's great to play it - and on the move too!

The problem I have is with the bottons at the bottom of the vm screen (menu, skip animation, etc, etc). Sometimes, they just completely disappear and don't reappear - so I can't save the game. This usually happens after an animation (like the newspaper that pops up on screen for instanace).

Can anyone help / give some advice on this please.

I don't get the hot-key assignment thing (don't know whether I can or can't do this - where should this be setup?). All my iPAQ buttons just pop up with "game paused, press space to continue".
