Monkey Island 2 Problem

Hi,

i have the Monkey Island 2 FMTOWNS edition. When i try to start the game it seems to work, but when i choose the difficulty level, i got this one:

Unknown Screen effect, 30

Can you help me with that?

Got it. Wrong entry in scummvm.ini

i have got the same problem... i am using scummvm 0.9.1 on windows

and solved it... forgot to choose fmtowns when adding the game.. sorry

I don't have that version myself, but I see there is at least one case where ScummVM ignores a bunch of screen effects if, and only if, the platform setting for the game is "FM-TOWNS".

If ScummVM detected it as something else, that sounds like a bug. If so, could you try it with Win32 Daily Nnapshot? If it still doesn't work, please file a bug report.
