I have 2 little problems:
The First is with Sam & Max which works almost perfectly on my PSP except for the part that it doesn't have any sound and I know I have every file needed for the game to work, so how can I fix this problem?
And the Second is Simon 1 with it's copy protection, how can I get past this? The crazy thing is I've played the game already on Dosbox on my PC without any problems, and by problems I mean copy protection problems, But! when I play it on ScummVM on PC or PSP problems arise.
Anyways, Thanks in advance to all. Rock On!!

the "no protection on PC but protection problem in scummvm" might be the same one as in:

NB: I don't know anything about the PSP port.
Could you be a bit more specific about what you mean with "no sound"? Do you mean that you don't get any sound at all, or do you get music and sound effects, but no speech after the intro? The latter is a quite common "problem" that's actually the expected behaviour for the floppy version of the game.Prieto wrote: The First is with Sam & Max which works almost perfectly on my PSP except for the part that it doesn't have any sound and I know I have every file needed for the game to work, so how can I fix this problem?
I thought ScummVM only had copy protection for versions of Simon the Sorcerer where the original game did so as well. If so, I would assume the answer's in the manual.Prieto wrote: And the Second is Simon 1 with it's copy protection, how can I get past this? I don't know about the PSP port, but all speech and sound effects are in a file called monster.sou.Prieto wrote:On Sam & Max I get Music, what I don't get is Sound Effects and Speech, is there a way to make it work just like on PC?
Not as far as I know. But I only have the CD version of the game, and that doesn't have the copy protection.Prieto wrote:And I never had a manual for Simon, unfortunatly. Hey it was a gift! Anyways, is there a way to bypass it?
Incidentally, the English versions of the Simon games appear to have been re-released a number of times, so they're quite easy to find. I recently came across the Simon 1 / 2 / Puzzle Pack / Pinball collection at my (then) local supermarket.
