Maniac Mansion disc question

Hello,

I've been tracking down a copy of Maniac Mansion (1st Edition) and I was curious how many 3.5" disks are included.

I've seen copies with two discs and copies with one...are the copies with only one disc incomplete?

Any help would be great because I would hate to drop like $40 on an incomplete game.

As far as i know MM were released on one disc

Would n't that release have come on both 5,25" and 3,5" media? Then it would be understandable if some have two discs?
