Loom Audio Track

Post by Sarioya »

I'm trying to rip the audio track from the Loom CD so I can run it completely off of my hard drive, but I can't see the track on the disc anywhere, and any program I get to rip it won't do it because it can't find a track. I know it's there due to the fact that I can play the audio on any CD player.

Which programs have you tried to get the tracks converted to ScummVM compatible audio format? For my part, I always use GoldWave and select CD reader from the tools section. Should be really odd if their really aren't any tracks since that time back there was no copy protection like that. I guess you just have a bad program for the job or you do something wrong (is it your first time you try to convert CD audio?). Also, in the worst case it could be that your CD data is corrupt. In that case, you can only copy the music to cassette and then record it back on your PC.

Some programs I have used in the past don't like data/audio cd combinations so just ignore the audio portion.

dbpoweramp I tend to use on Windows.

VUPlayer. It supports any mixed mode CD known to man.
