You need to download the latest SVN version to get them, not version 0.9.1.

Not true. There is a tools download on the downloads page for 0.9.1

As far as I remember, there's no compress_dxa tool in 0.9.1, as it was added fairly recently

The "compress_simon.exe" tool has been renamed to "compress_agos.exe" as it compresses the sound of all of the games that use the AGOS engine (Simon 1/2, Feeble files) instead of only Simon the Sorcerer

Download ScummVM daily build and you will find official convert_dxa.bat file there.

If I convert this file:

Code: Select all

C:\xxx\encode_dxa newcredits.smk
I have a message:

Code: Select all

ERROR: readVideoInfo: Unknown type!
It's strange because other files works fine. What's going on?

Sounds like a corrupt file, since the 'SMK2' header was not found in the file.

I can only suggest trying to copy the file from the original CDs again.

No effects.

Have someone correct version of "newcredits.dxa"? Without this file I can't play this wonderful game :(

Strange. As a workaround, you could copy another (preferably short) DXA movie and rename it newcredits.dxa, I suppose...

I edited "Disk1.dxa" to 8 blank frames nad rename it. The file has 2kB, but it works :P
Thanks for advice.
