Zeta 1.5 - Loading doesn't work

Post by Der_Knob »

Hi, I have problem...

in Zeta 1.5 it's not possible to load a save game.
There is always an error.

Maybe it's because of the new MultiUser Feature in the OS?
Save works correct - as far as I can say...

There is no official Zeta port for ScummVM, so in particular, we can't really give support with problems you encounter there Where did you obtain this build from.

Anyway, with the information you provide, it's basically impossible to provide any help, as you are omitting key information. Like, what game you were playing, what error you received etc. -- see also Forum rule #3a

Until version 1.21 of Zeta I have used the usual BeOS port because Zeta is the successor of BeOS...

And the error occurrence Monkey Island 1 + 2 and Sam and Max hit the road (I assume it happens in every game).

The Error is: Failed to load game state form file

You didn't answer Fingolfin's question as to where the build was from.

From what I understood, I think he used the official BeOS port from the downloads page

Yup, sounds like he used the official BeOS build. But unfortunately, that was likely never tested on ZetaOS (nor do we make any promise for it to run there).

Still, of course it would be nice to get it working on Zeta, but I am afraid this will require a developer who has both access to ZetaOS and some experience in porting software. Nobody on our team qualifies for that; maybe you can raise some interest in the Zeta community for this, though.
