No, and it was brought several times that "since it has reduced colors, then it's not worth supporting". Well, at least our FOTAQ subteam doesn't want to work on it.joachimeberhard wrote:Is the Amiga version supported by ScummVM?
None that I know of, though it's legal now.joachimeberhard wrote: Also, is the full CD of FOTAQ available for free download anywhere?
I don't like those ripped-off free games offered by ScummVM...

But it arguably has the better music out of both versions???sev wrote:No, and it was brought several times that "since it has reduced colors, then it's not worth supporting". Well, at least our FOTAQ subteam doesn't want to work on it.joachimeberhard wrote:Is the Amiga version supported by ScummVM?
looking at what's going on with BASS, if the Amiga sound is really better (no idea if that is the case) there could be a chance of a bastardized version mixing the best of both? and while at it, why not convert FOTAQ to high-color and redo some of the backgrounds to get rid of the dithering in the sky?
Dreaming here though, heh

I guess it's a matter of taste. But IMO, amiga modules sound better than their MIDI equivalents. And like you, clem, I had this idea to add support for the amiga music files in the queen engine. So, I wrote a player for RJP1 files (the module format), but never really got motivated to cleanup my code and integrate it to the queen engine.clem wrote:looking at what's going on with BASS, if the Amiga sound is really better (no idea if that is the case) there could be a chance of a bastardized version mixing the best of both?
If someone wants to finish that, though, I'd happy to share my code :)
