The assigned 'skip' key brings up the console in the Dig?

Cutscenes skipping doesn't work - skip key always brings up the console. Anyone had that problem?

well, turned out it's not the 'skip' key but the game itself - I waited for that loooong intro to end and as soon as the first game screen appeared it just crashed bringing up the console. What could be wrong? (I double-checked the required file list and the game isn't modified in any way).

I don't know anything about the PocketPC/WinCE port, but if the console appears because of an error, there should be a message in it that could be a clue.
