Hmm, come to think of it: Revolution couldn't send thir Lure source code in the first place, so no one started implementing the engine to ScummVM. Then, dreammaster started to work on it with REing the game and now Revolution suddenly found nearly the complete sourcecode.eriktorbjorn wrote:So what you're saying is that the chances are still much better if we ask Revolution than if we keep waiting for the guy who promised to send it?fingolfin wrote: Ah, but it's unfortunately extremly unlikely that Revolution will find the Discworld source code on one of their backup tapes...
Might as well work with the Discworld games. Someone just starts Reverse Engineering the Discworld games, and ta-da, the source just appears out of the blue.
Reminds me a bit of Hoagie from DOTT. He starts washing the old waggon and it just starts getting stormy all of a sudden.
(I don't really think that by just starting to RE any game will make the source code of it appear, that was just a rare coincidence with Lure. But who knows, it might work this way, so start REing Discworld already! )
Just kidding.
