M3 Perfect CF problem

Post by poyep »

Firstly, I can't speak english well so pleas forgive me :-)
(I'm from Poland,so if anybody speak Polish I will be weary happy ;-)
Secondly(is this a correct form?...I got hope it is :-). I'd try to search forum for answer for my question but with no effects.
I got one big problem :/
I'm using M3 Perfect CF adapter. I have patch everything and do it "as it should" with DLDI and a,b or c version of SCUMMvM. I'm launching SCUMMvM and it's work normally but when I press "Add game" there is no visible folder or any path to chose...I try using 2 CF cards (KINGSTON and pq1) in FAT and FAT 32 format but with no effect . I try ZIP method and work the same...I add different games and came with nothing :(
What's wrong? My Scumm games work on my xbox well with Scummvmx but DS just don't want to cooperate. Help, pleas:-)

Yes, I had same problem when I tried to use DLDI version od ScummVM DS on my M3 CF. That's because M3CF's DLDI is broken. you must use Not-DLDI versions of ScummVM, as I.

You could use eg. beta 6 or beta 5, but remember, no DLDI.

Chishm updated the M3CF DLDI and uploaded it to the DLDI wiki.

Chishm fixed some null function pointers but it fails read alignment test. I don't know if this is a problem for scummVM but it stops saves from working in some other homebrew (FlashbackDS).

In M3 forum, someone said this;
Working M3CF DLDI driver:
http://dldi.drunkencoders.com/index.php ... t_Flash%29

EDIT: I don't think this driver actually works! I have tested with ScummVM and it is not working.

EDIT2: The driver has been just been updated and is now fully functional.

So does it function nice or does not?
