im not sure if im doing something wrong, but recently you(the dev team) added support for the gob engine... and with it ween, gob1, gob2 and gob3 along with others.

so i tried to play woodruff, it recognized it, but it just wouldn't play(it just crashed to desktop). is there a reason for this?

There's a very good reason for it, actually: The game isn't supported yet.

Woodruff is my favorite of the Coktel Vision games. While I, too, am eagerly awaiting ScummVM support for it, it is not yet implemented. I believe that it is next on Dr McCoy's list. Let's give him time. He is doing a great job with the Coktel Vision games.
