PC-CD games on Mac ScummVM??

is it possible to use the files from a cdrom version of broken sword on a mac with scummvm!?

how do i do it?! please help!, i have broken sword 1 its PCCD and i want to play it on my macbook!, what do i do?!, or point me in the right direction!, thanks!

Hi, wellcome !!

BS 1 is great, i played it on my ibook ....

ok. > go to downloads, and get the file: Mac OS X Universal Disk Image 0.9.1a

install this.

Read the 'Readme' which comes along with it. At 3.7 you will find
further instructions how get the cutscenes and how to start the game.

If it doesn't work, come back and poste once more

so when it says copy, where do i copy the files to?, do i make a folder myself??

yes, anywhere on your HD

just create a folder, name it ' BS 1' for exmpl. and copy all
these files from the CDs and the cutscenes (Video) into it:

Broken Sword 1 - files:

COMPACTS.CLU
GENERAL.CLU
IRELAND.CLU
MAPS.CLU
MUSIC - folder
PARIS1.CLU
PARIS2.CLU
PARIS3.CLU
PARIS4.CLU
SCOTLAND.CLU
SCRIPTS.CLU
SPAIN.CLU
SPEECH - contains:
- SPEECH1.CLU
- SPEECH2.CLU
SWORDRES.RIF
SYRIA.CLU
TEXT.CLU
TRAIN.CLU
VIDEO - folder

Then you start ScummVM, 'Add Game' -
point to that folder 'BS 1' and (hopefully) start the game !!

That's how it works on my macmini

The Game data files page should have a fairly complete list of the files ScummVM needs for the different games.

Also note that will help with the instillation error saying you have insufficient space to install when you have plenty.
