Scummvm ds + supercard ds one v2 os 2.0 sp1 = problem?

Post by petaglair »

hi
first of all i want to say i was able to run scummvmds 0.9.1a on my supercard ds one before. I corrupted my micro sd (thanx to windows nothing to do with the linker nor scummvm) and i got an exchange with exact same card, i stuffed it with the same homebrews and progs, and guess what it doesn't work anymore.

here's my config:
supercard ds one v2 with os 2.0 sp1
micro sd sandisk ultra II 2 gb FAT32 formated
scummvm 0.9.1a patched with dldi (cluny's update)
samnmax.sm0 + samnmax.sm1 (english floppy dos version)

problem description:
when i add the game it is recognized...
when i try to play:
either it says "unable to find file : samnmax.sm0" then freezes
or the ds shut down

note:
i'm not sure i had scummvmds working with 2.0 sp1 before maybe i only tested it with a previous version of the OS.
This could be the issue since my config was exactly the same before i exchanged my micro sd except "maybe" the OS
I have other slight problems that could be related or not: rarely in the OS folders appear to be in a mess but as soon as you enter one everything is back to normal(didn't happen before); i cannot browse files in dsorganize anymore it freezes (worked before).
Except that everything works great with 2.0 sp1 do you think the OS revision could be the issue?

Thanx

i doubt it, but its worth a shot, i suppose.

however, i had a similar problem, it turned out that the card reader was broke

hi

problem solved
i formated my micro sd and installed the new os revision OS 2.0 sp2 and it works. Now i don't know wether the problem resulted of a bad format or a bug in the previous os.

bye
