Monkey Island 2 problem

Hi i keep getting these weird recipe things at the start of the game after i press start this 1 i have up right now says:
Recipe For Worms:
Mix __ Crab Scalps With__ Servings of fruit cocktail.
Shake well.

i cant figure out how to get past that...

That's a copy protection screen. The original release of Monkey Island 2 included a code wheel where you had to look up the answer. Later releases did not include the code wheel, so LucasArts changed their interpreter to skip the copy protection screen completely. Unfortunately, that also skips the difficulty selection screen that comes after it.

ScummVM does it a bit differently: The copy protection screen is shown, but any answer is accepted as the correct one. (Ideally, we should still check for the correct answer if it's one of the earlier releases, but there's no way to tell the difference.)

That's how it works in general. I don't have a PSP, so I don't know how to enter any answer on it.
